There are five ways for groups to enjoy family history experiences...

1) Have a Group Discovery experience at the center

2) Invite the Lehi Center to your stake, ward, or community event

  • For church or community groups of 50 or more (teens and adults), Lehi FamilySearch representatives will set up a space where information about our center can be given. Events should be family history related such as genealogy fairs, storytelling festivals and other similar activities.
  • Call 801-356-5820 to leave your name, phone number and email address and to indicate your interest in having the Lehi FamilySearch Center participate in your event. A FamilySearch representative will contact you to discuss details. We request that you plan to call a month in advance of your event.

3) Reserve a classroom for your ward or stake group

  • A classroom with a podium, large screen, and 24 computers can be reserved at the center for a two hour slot.
  • Please plan on bringing your own teacher.
  • Click here to reserve a classroom for your group.

4) Reserve the Lehi FamilySearch Center to host your large group event

  • Family reunions, youth conferences, wards, stakes, community, and club events. Any event held when the center is closed requires a minimum of 20 guests.
  • Send an email to schedule@fsclehi.org and provide the following information:
  - Your name
  - Phone number
  - Email address
  - Proposed date of the event
  - Group type i.e. family, ward, young men, young women, community group, etc.
  • Please give us at least three weeks notice to plan for your event.
  • A missionary will contact you to make arrangements.

5) Family History Olympics (New)

  • Welcome to the Family History Olympics! Get ready to embark on an exciting journey of discovery and competition. Join us in this unique event where participants, either in small groups or as individuals, compete not against each other, but against the challenges of tracing their family histories.
  • No athletic prowess required—just a passion for uncovering your roots and a willingness to learn basic research skills. Whether you're a seasoned genealogist or just starting out, this event is for you. All you need is a FamilySearch account and a desire to explore your family's past.
  • Using your own family tree on FamilySearch, you'll navigate through a series of tasks and challenges designed to test your research skills and learn new ones. And the best part? Every participant will walk away with a tangible reminder of their achievements—a gold, silver, or bronze medallion family tree to proudly display on keychains, backpacks, or even wear as jewelry.
  • If individual participants have phones with the FamilySearch and Memories app, small groups (5-8 people) will not need a reservation. For groups of more than 8 people, Click here to reserve a classroom for your group.
  • So gather your family and friends, or go solo—it's time to dive into the fascinating world of genealogy and see what treasures you can uncover. Reserve your spot now and let the Family History Olympics begin!
