Class Reminders for the Payson FamilySearch Center
We offer a variety of classes each month taught by amazing presenters. There just might be one listed below that you’ve been waiting for. Check it out; there’s no sign-up necessary.

Tuesday, June 18, 10:30 am, Kristy Bloomer will be the instructor for her “Workshop: Write!” If you are interested, Kristy will make this workshop well worth your time. She is the Director of the Payson FamilySearch Center along with her husband, and she is fun to be with. If you would like to upload a memory to FamilySearch and write a paragraph about it or record a memory with a photo, come prepared by bringing some photos or using them from your phone. If you would like to share and talk about your photos, we will have time to do that as well. Whether you want to just visit the class to learn or be actively involved, everyone is welcome. This workshop will not be zoomed.

Vamos a aprender a agregar personal al árbol de FamilySearch, editar su información, sus relaciones y a arreglar errores. Esta clase se imparte en persona y online. (dura 1 hora).
Thursday, June 20, 7:00 pm, Troy Mohrman will be teaching “Finding Hidden Gems at the FamilySearch Center.” This helpful class could be the answer to some of your family history questions. There could be great information right at your fingertips; you just need to know where to find it. With his expertise, Troy will give you the necessary clues to find hidden treasures for your research. Troy will make this class enjoyable and informative. If you can attend, you will be glad you did!

-Wednesday, May 15, 1:00 pm, Steve Lowry will be teaching “Descendancy Research.” Family History is in Steve’s blood and he loves sharing this knowledge with others. He has helped many of the members of his ward, as well as youth and adult groups throughout the stake. Steve has taught many Family History classes at church and over the web, and he continues to teach a class several times a year via zoom. We are blessed to have Steve as one of our regular instructors at the Payson FamilySearch Center. Join Steve’s class and allow him to share his knowledge about this tremendously valuable tool and how it can be used to expand your family tree. Whether you are just starting your family tree or have a completely developed one, this class is for you.

-Thursday, May 16, 7:00 pm, Kristy Bloomer will be teaching “FamilySearch Partner Sites.” Do you know what the partner sites are and how they can help with your research? Kristy will share with you the partner sites available and what topics each one specializes in. This class will explain how these partner sites can assist you in being more time effective in finding your ancestors. We all need more time, especially with this important work. Bring your family history to the next level and participate in this class. Kristy is one of the Directors at the Payson FamilySearch Center along with her husband, Bob. They have served a mission at the Salt Lake FamilySearch Center as well as in Peru as missionaries for FamilySearch. Kristy has a lot of experience with genealogy and you will learn a lot from her class.
