The official language for Trinidad and Tobago is English. [1] [2]
It is a variant of English called Trinidadian and Tobagonian Standard English.

  • Trinidadian Hindustani - also known as Trinidadian Bhojpuri, Trinidadian Hindi, Indian, Plantation Hindustani, or Gaon ke Bolee (Village Speech)
  • Spanish - increasing due to massive immigration of Venezuelans
  • Tamil - mostly spoken by remaining children of indentured Indian labourers
  • Chinese
