Brief History[edit | edit source]
The 20th Regiment, Wisconsin Infantry was organized at Madison, Wisconsin, and it was mustered in August 23, 1862. It was ordered to Galveston, Texas, June 22, and had duty there until July 14. It was mustered out July 14, 1865. [1]
