Brief History[edit | edit source]

The 30th Regiment, Wisconsin Infantry was organized at Camp Randall, Madison, Wisconsin, and it was mustered in October 21,1862. Companies "B," "E" and "G" moved to Frankfort, Kentucky, February, 1865, and duty there until June. It was mustered out September 20, 1865. [1]
