"To be ignorant of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child.
For what is the worth of human life, unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history?"

Marcus Tullius Cicero

The Ogden FamilySearch Center is offering both ONLINE ZOOM CLASSES using the Zoom Web Teleconferencing platform and IN-PERSON CLASSES at the Ogden FamilySearch Center.
Each class title has the indication of how it will be taught. We make every effort to start classes on time.
We recommend joining classes 5-10 minutes before they start to resolve any connection issues. If the class has no participants, it will end 15 minutes after the start time.

Instructions for Joining an Online Zoom Class.

  • On the page above, select the class you would like to join and click on [{Details/Join Zoom}].
  • At the bottom of the page click on "Click Here to Join".
  • From the screen that pops up, complete the information and then Click "Register". You are now registered for the meeting.
  • You will receive an email with the link to join. At the bottom of the email click on "Join Meeting". From there just follow the instructions to enter the meeting.
  • Select "join with video" and "join with audio" when and if prompted to do so.
  • A Zoom account is not required to join a class!
  • If you would like to know more about Zoom or create a free Zoom account, Click on this link.

Instructions for Attending an In Person Class.

  • No need to register, just come to the Ogden FamilySearch Center and you will be directed to the classroom.

***Classes are subject to change. Please confirm the class schedule before attending.

Read the class descriptions below for details. Some classes are Online Zoom and some are In Person at the Ogden FamilySearch Center.
