There is no central headquarters for the entire Micmac Tribe. The tribe has bands in the Provinces of New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia,Prince Edward Island and Quebec in Canada.
In the United States, only the Aroostook Band of Micmac in Maine is federally recognized by the U.S. government today.
