Wyoming Naturalization and Citizenship: Difference between revisions

Naturalization records have generally been filed with the clerk of the district court in each county courthouse. You can obtain copies of declarations, petitions, oaths, and orders by contacting the clerk's office. The FamilySearch Library has copies of these records for Lincoln and Uinta counties. Post-1906 Records

In 1906 the Immigration and Naturalization Service (now United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) was created, forms were standardized and courts sent duplicate naturalization records to the INS. To access these records, use the Genealogy Program at www.uscis.gov. You can also contact the National Archives— Rocky Mountain Region(Denver) for naturalization records.
