Layton Utah FamilySearch Center Discovery


While you are visiting the center, enjoy a family-friendly area that helps guests of all ages discover more about themselves and their heritage in an interactive way! Check out a few of the fun Activities available on our big screen computers. Other family history activities for you and your family are located on FamilySearch.org/Discovery.


Preparing for your visit

  • If you already have a FamilySearch account, be sure to bring your account username and password when you visit the Center.
  • If you do not have an account, set one up before coming by following the instructions on this link.
  • Make sure you have at least one connection to a deceased ancestor on your tree. A good rule is to go back 4 generations.
  • Assistance is available at the Center to help you set up the account and to build your family tree.
