Introduction[edit | edit source]

The purpose of this project is to add statewide digital newspaper collections to county pages.
Send a Yammer message to Janae if you have any questions.

Step 1[edit | edit source]

Go to the task list link below, click on the tab for the state you wish to work on, type your name in, and then jump to the section for that state on this page.

Arizona[edit | edit source]

Step 1
In the task list, type your name into the "name" column, and then click on the Wiki link to the county page.

Step 2
On the Wiki county page, scroll down to the "Newspapers" section heading. Look to see if there is already a link to the Arizona Historical Digital Newspapers collection. If there is already a link, move on to the next county. If there is no link, then move on to the next step.

Step 3

Click "edit source" next to the "Newspaper" section. In the appropriate alphabetical order, add the following code to the page.
*[https://azmemory.azlibrary.gov/digital/custom/newspapers Arizona Historical Digital Newspapers] at Arizona Memory Project
click "show preview". The code entered should look like this:
*Arizona Historical Digital Newspapers at Arizona Memory Project

Step 4
If everything looks good with the "show preview" than type "adding collection" into the Summary box and save the page.

Step 5
Add the completed date to the spreadsheet and move on to the next county!

California[edit | edit source]

Step 1
In the task list, type your name into the "name" column, and then click on the Wiki link to the county page.

Step 2
