We also offer worldwide resources including free access to Internet Databases: Findmypast Ancestry British Newspaper Archive The Genealogist Biographical Database of Australia Internet History Resources ServicesMEMBERSHIP BENEFITS Unlimited use of the Society’s Research Centre. Research Centre Volunteer Assistants are always on hand, if required, for advice and help. Access to our comprehensive collection of family history indexes, books, CDs, journals, microfiche, microfilms, maps and pamphlets. Receive our quarterly journal Endeavour BBFHS Bulletin issued at Monthly Meetings Communication and information by joining BBFHS eNEWS Reduced fees for seminars, education classes/workshops and Interest Groups
Visitors are welcome to call into our Research Centre on a daily fee payment.
Interest Groups meet regularly to discuss specific areas of focus and ask for advice. The groups are: England, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Writers, DNA Computer Software Interest Groups: Family Tree Maker (FTM) for PC & MAC, Legacy, Reunion for MAC HistorysWe have been providing assistance in family history since 1984.
