Two new series of training classes for Consultants will begin in August. <br>One series will be held on Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. beginning August 5th and the other series will be held on Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. beginning August 7th. Each series will run for five weeks.
 
These classes will be held in the training room at the rear of the library.<br>

= Monthly Workshop - Genealogy Merit Badges  =
 
The library offers a monthly workshop to assist Boy Scouts with their Genealogy Merit Badges.&nbsp; The workshop will be held the second Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m.&nbsp; Scouts must prepare for the workshop, by doing the following '''before '''coming: 1) interview a family member by telephone, e-mail or letter and record the information learned; 2) complete a four-generation pedigree chart; and 3) complete a family group sheet.&nbsp; If these items are completed and brought to the workshop, all other requirements for the merit badge can be completed at the workshop and authorized personnel can certify the completion of the merit badge.
