Template:HR Coverage Table/doc: Difference between revisions

This template is for use in documents containing coverage tables for FamilySearch Historical Records collection. It is not necessary or recommended to use this template in articles where the coverage table is part of the article.

This template creates the category: FamilySearch Historical Records Coverage Tables.

There are two parameters that should be supplied:

location
HR_article

The location parameter creates category:COUNTYNAME FamilySearch Historical Records.

The HR_article parameter creates a link to the HR article.

Here is the template code without either of the parameters supplied:

{{HR Coverage Table|location = |HR_article = }}

The article parameter is supplied as a standard wikicode link. For example,

[[United States, World War I Draft Registration Cards - FamilySearch Historical Records]]

This is how the template would look if the above article is supplied as the HR_article parameter:

{{HR Coverage Table|location= United States|HR_article = [[United States, World War I Draft Registration Cards - FamilySearch Historical Records]]}}

When the article parameter is not supplied the template displays like this:

This article contains record coverage information about a FamilySearch Historical Records Collection.
