- Findmypast: - searchable access to millions of records including census, directory and historical record information
- 19th Century British Library Newspaper: - a searchable database which gives access to a number of newspapers for the 19th century.
- Fold3: - search/browse millions of historical documents and photographs (Fold3 has focussed its efforts on gathering an online collection of military records and stories).
