St. George Utah FamilySearch Center Discovery Area

- Take a picture with you standing in front of your favorite temple or in a beautiful scene from the land of your ancestors as a background.

- Learn about the origins of your name or what the world was like the year you were born.

- See how you may be related to famous people or interact with a world map that shows where your ancestors lived, the food they ate and the paths they traveled.

- Make a memory video in one of our recording rooms.

These are a few of the engaging activities waiting for you at our Discovery Center.

Walk-ins are welcome but if you have a larger group we urge you to make a reservation.

You will need a FamilySearch or LDS Account username and password to interact with Discovery Center activities and see your own personal family history information.

-The FamilySearch Center is open to the general public as well as LDS members.

-Reservations are not required for assistance with research, to attend classes.  However, the Discovery Experience is a popular activity and scheduling a visit ahead of time will result in a better experience as reservations have priority over walk in visit. Especially during peak visiting hours in the evening.<br>
