Brack, Arthur. Irregular Marriages at Lamberton Toll. A fragment of a register of irregular border marriages held at the Scottish Record Office, part of miscellaneous papers from the Lord Advocate's Office (Reference AD 58/125) Mr Brack has done a transciption of the fragment, giving the date, Groom's first name, surname, place, job occupation, and brides name, and place if different from the Groom. Folk mainly from Northumberland, and Durham. You can also google it, and see the list. Article can be found in The Journal of the Northumberland & Durham Family History Society vol22,no.1. page5-6.
