County Information
Description
Middlesex County was created on 12 May 1785[2] and named for the county of Middlesex, England, which is now part of Greater London, England.[3] The counties in Connecticut do not have county seats. The cities and towns are responsible for all local governmental activities. It is located in the south-central area of the state.
