Here is an alphabetical list of the parishes in England with their counties and the pre-1858 ecelesastical probate courts that had jurisdiction over each parish.  There were multiple courts with jurisdiction.  They are listed in hierarchical order beginning with the court with primary jurisdiction and going to the court with the least jurisdiction.  In every case, the last court listed is the Prerogative Court of Canterbury (the court of the Archbishop of Canterbury and the highest court in the country) or one of its appeals courts.
