We provide direct access to public and certain restricted access records.

The Redmond ONSITE FSC has 8 Internet-linked computers and 1 Printer.
The Redmond ONSITE FSC has many ways of creating digital images of your family history treasures. We have 1 High-speed Photo and Document scanner, 1 Film and Slide scanner, 1 Flatbed scanner, 1 AdobePhoto Scan Arm and several Apps to allow us to scan any size and any pre-tech medium item free of charge.
We also have lots of table space to set up your own computer, review family history documents and evidence, or organize photos as you scan. There are no time limits for using the computers. Free WIFI is also available.

We will either 1) teach patrons how to or 2) assist patrons to or 3) do the following for patrons:

· Enter information into family search or any patron selected software
· Connect to previously entered information in family search or ancestry.com
· Anything else that falls within compilation services
Digital Imaging services[edit | edit source]
· Use high speed photo/document, film/slide and flat bed scanners to create digital images
· Use specialty scanners and apps to create digital images of oversized items, multiple page items, etc.
· Enhance digital images
· Upload digital images to family search and attach the images to individual profiles
· Anything else that falls within digital imaging services

· Assess and attach hint sources to individual profiles
· Identify, locate and attach missing sources from family search and other websites to individual profiles
· Conduct more advanced-level research with the assistance of the patrons
· Write proofing reports
· Anything else that we deem reasonable that falls within research services

· Write a basic timeline story
· Expand a timeline story with biographical tidbits, personal sources and locality research
· Find pictures and graphics to enhance a basic timeline story
· Find story writing websites to assist patrons with writing personal and ancestor histories

· Find COMMUNITY groups offering free translation services for a specific language
· Capture digital images of the item requiring translation
· Prepare a posting requesting free translation services one item at a time
Church Calling services[edit | edit source]
· Help members to fulfill their callings as they relate to temple and family history work
· Discuss needs and conduct activities as directed by the patron for their calling.
Specialty services[edit | edit source]
· Prepare names for temple ordinances by ensuring no duplication of prior temple ordinance work
· Print temple name cards
· Prove relationships for DNA matches
· Research remnant biological families for adoption participants
· Research ancestral village relatives by compiling family units within a surname
