When doing genealogy research, descendency research is the process of finding all of the descendants (children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc.) of one of your ancestors. Descendency research is a great way of connecting with living relatives and gives you the opportunity to continue learning about your family even if research on your ancestral lines has stalled. The following video and accompanying handout will give you step-by-step instructions on how to research descendants using the resources of FamilySearch.org.
