This article describes the services and resources available at a FamilySearch Centre, a branch facility of the FamilySearch Library.

Centre Contacts and Hours[edit | edit source]

Please use the white doorbell and wait for Centre staff to let you in; Listen carefully for the door buzzer.
Once in the building use the hallway on the right. The Centre is located at the end of the hall on the right.

Open Hours:

Effective October 1, 2023 the Family Search Centre will be open by appointment only.

Contact Liz Killan at 306 649 3040 if you would like to arrange an appointment to start or continue work on your family tree.

Closures:

The FamilySearch Centre is closed for all statutory holidays, the months of July and August, and three weeks over Christmas.
The FSC closes when temperatures and wind chill reach -30 or below.
The Centre is not open during the first weekends of April and October.

FamilySearch Center Portal This Centre has access to the FamilySearch Center Portal page. This portal provides free access to premium family history software and websites, including:
- 19th Century British Library Newspaper Digital Archive
- Access Newspaper Archive
- Alexander Street Press - The American Civil War
- Ancestry.com
- ArkivDigital Online
- Findmypast
- Fold3.com
- Godfrey Memorial Library
- Heritage Quest Online
- Historic Map Works Library Edition
- Paper Trail
- World Vital Records

Hardware and Equipment[edit | edit source]

This FamilySearch centre is equipped with 4 computers, a printer, and a digital microfilm scanner. While microfilm ordering is no longer available, a collection of films are stored and available to view in the centre. All microfiche have been discarded.
