FamilySearch Center Portal

This center has access to the FamilySearch Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.

Hardware and Equipment

Four computers available; all with internet access and free access to premium databases. Two microfilm readers available.
Visitors may connect their personal computers, handheld devices, or other equipment to the wireless Internet connection in the church.

The Allen County Public Library in downtown Fort Wayne has the largest publicly funded genealogy library in the world.

Using the FamilySearch Research Wiki: A comprehensive video presentation explaining the Wiki, navigating it, and some especially useful pages. Case studies demonstrate using the Wiki for genealogical research. Editing and adding articles to the Wiki are covered.
