This online gazetteer features historical places in the Kingdom of Saxony. Choose "Orte", then type in the village you are looking for and the databank will give you all the features that pertain to this village. It will feature jurisdictions (box 5) and will provide the church with time frame (box 7) the particular village belongs to.

In box 5 I see to which administration Liebenau belonged between 1696 and 2008.
