Question 1: Is there a reason I see multiple records when I search for a name?
Answer 1: Because this collection goes to an affiliate, in order to link the multiple images to their site, an index result needs to exist for each image. For example, in the case of Catharine Collington Potts widow of Henry Potts from the 8 Maine Infantry Company G, there are 70 images for Henry Potts in Fold 3 - so there ends up being 70 results now of a search for Catharine Collington Potts. Going to the image on any of the seventy will put you in the collection and a thumbnail view can allow you to navigate through the 70.
