The following offices hold birth, marriage and death records for the historic county of Flintshire, which has now been superseded by the modern counties of Flintshire, Denbighshire and Wrexham.

Wrexham Register Office, Guildhall Wrexham, LL11 1AY, Wales Telephone: +44 (0)1978 292027 for those parts of historic Flintshire which were in the Wrexham Registration District	Shropshire Register Office, Column Lodge, Preston Street, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY2 5NY, England Telephone: 0345 678 9016 for those parts of historic Flintshire (in the Maelor) which were in the Oswestry or Ellesmere Registration Districts

It is often difficult to establish exactly which Register Office holds the records of a specific birth, marriage or death and, in some cases, it make be necessary to approach more than one office!
