The Valparaiso FamilySearch Center welcomes all who want to find their ancestors.  Please come and view our collection of extended loan films.

Northwest Indiana Genealogy Society meets the third Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in either the Valparaiso Branch of the Porter County Public Library or the Merrillville branch of the Lake County Library.

The Valparaiso branch of the Porter County Public Library also has an extensive genealogy collection as well as readers and other materials.
