SEWERBY, with Marton, a township, in the parish and union of Bridlington, wapentake of Dickering, E. riding of York, 1¾ mile (E. N. E.) from Bridlington; containing 352 inhabitants. The township comprises about 2000 acres, and is situated on the coast.
