The 11th Regiment, West Virginia Infantry organized at Wheeling, Elizabeth, Burning Springs, Parkersburg, Ravenswood, Kanawha Station and Point Pleasant, West Virginia, October 29, 1861, to October 8, 1862. It had duty near Richmond until June, 1865. It mustered out June 17, 1865.[1]
