Was organized at Camden from December 30, 1861, to May 15, 1862 and was mustered out June 3, 1865. [1]

Companies in this Regiment with the Counties of Origin[edit | edit source]

Men often enlisted in a company recruited in the counties where they lived though not always. After many battles, companies might be combined because so many men were killed or wounded. However if you are unsure which company your ancestor was in, try the company recruited in his county first.

  • Company A - Many of the men were from the central and southern parts of the state.
  • Company B - Many of the men were from the central and southern parts of the state.
  • Company C - Many of the men were from the central and southern parts of the state.
  • Company D - Many of the men were from the central and southern parts of the state.
  • Company E - Many of the men were from the central and southern parts of the state.
