Parish History[edit | edit source]
St John the Baptist was begun in the 13th Century and underwent a significant restoration in 1893. It is within the Anglican Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham and is the most southerly parish in the Province of York. It also forms part of a joint Benefice with the neighbouring parishes of Costock, Nottinghamshire, East Leake, Nottinghamshire, West Leake, Nottinghamshire and Rempstone, Nottinghamshire.
