Brief History[edit | edit source]
The 28th Regiment, Michigan Infantry was organized at Kalamazoo and Marshall, Michigan, by consolidation of the 28th and 29th Michigan Infantry on October 26, 1864. It was mustered out June 6, 1866.[1]
