This is a documentation subpage for Template:Rename media (see that page for the template itself). It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Media bearing this template are added to Category:Files requiring renaming. If no suggestion is made for the new name, the media will be added to Category:Incomplete file renaming requests.
Usage: {{rename media{{{4}}}{{{5}}}{{{6}}}{{{7}}}{{{8}}}{{{9}}}{{{10}}}{{{11}}}...}}
- Do not include the "File:" prefix.
- This is for media only. For galleries, categories and templates, use {{move}}.
