:I see the code '':Template:|'' on the template description page and '':Help:|'' on the [[Help:Maintenance Templates]] page. The template can now take multiple parameters like {{wpd|Template:Merge|Wikipedia's Template:Merge}}, but until the template is used and a destination page/article defined it will display the namespace where the example is used. --[[User:Cottrells|Steve]] 18:24, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Meta-template[edit source]

This template was reworked to use a meta-template. Is this why I see the code :Template:| within brackets inside the description of the template on the Help:Maintenance Templates page? -Fran 17:28, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

I see the code :Template:| on the template description page and :Help:| on the Help:Maintenance Templates page. The template can now take multiple parameters like Wikipedia's Template:Merge, but until the template is used and a destination page/article defined it will display the namespace where the example is used. --Steve 18:24, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
