Lloyd Information Center (RELIC) is a special collection devoted to genealogy and local history with a focus on Virginia and Prince William County. Located at Central Library, RELIC is staffed the same hours as the rest of the library. The staff are trained to help customers locate information needed to trace their family history and to research persons, places and events associated with local history. The American Revolution and the Civil War as they relate to Virginia are of special interest. Prince William Public Libraries (PWPL) brings people, information, and ideas together to enrich lives and build community in a welcoming, inclusive environment. With 12 libraries in Prince William County and the City of Manassas, a vast online catalog, Digital Library, and educational programs and community outreach services, PWPL is the hub connecting residents to the power of information.   PWPL offers free access to books, e-books, e-audio, print and digital magazines, Digital Library, DVDs, and educational and entertaining programs for all ages. Every library offers free access to computers with internet, Wi-Fi that extends to parking lots, printers, Wi-Fi mobile hotspots, and Curbside Pickup. All branches have self-checkout stations, and book drops are available at each branch for after-hours return of materials.
