The Boise FamilySearch Center is open to the public free of charge. [edit | edit source]

The following devices are now available for use by appointment.

  • Wolverine MovieMaker Pro - A device to convert 8 mm/Super 8 movie reels (up to 9") to a digital format. Please bring an empty reel and be aware that a 9" reel will take 4 1/2 to 5 hours to convert.

To request an appointment, please call the center or send an email to boisefamilysearch@gmail.com with the following information:

  • your name
  • phone number
  • requested date and time
  • device to be used

You will receive an email back confirming your appointment. If the time is not available, the response will suggest an alternate date/time for the appointment.

Drive through the gate into the parking lot behind the temple, turn right and go to the stand alone FamilySearch building towards the back of the parking lot.

2nd Tuesday at 7:00 pm: FamilySearch for Spanish speaking patrons taught by Alan Stoddard
