The 38th Regiment, Wisconsin Infantry Companies "A," "B," "C" and "D" <br>were organized at Madison, Wisconsin, and were mustered in April 15, 1861.Companies "F," "G," "H," "I" and "K" joined October 1,1864.It was in the Grand Review May 28.
