Updates and follow up[edit | edit source]
- Problems with getting emails for watched pages have been corrected in Staging, as well as gridlines for tables, etc. We still don't have a date for the implementation of the release, however.
- Some gridlines are still not showing on the Stage site.
- Previously fixed problem has recurred. Enlarged text causing content to go under the Nav Bar. See Moveable Feast Day Calendar for Sweden. Judy 18:44, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- Problems with old microfilm pages - fixed by Steve. Thank you, Steve!
Business/Announcements[edit | edit source]
New Agenda Items[edit | edit source]
- Category:Professional Genealogists pages. I received several emails that express concerns. Clarification will be appreciated.
- "a master place was created on the wiki for any professional to add themselves...
- "Someone was given the job of doing those pages and then was transferred... continuing those pages has fallen on the Community Mtg leadership....
- "they have kept the reason why its being allowed pretty hush hush, except that it IS allowed from direction given at the top.
- "perhaps there were some other issues---like monitoring quality of professional work provided.
- "Personally, I think having a place to track down professional and even unaccredited professionals is a good idea.
- "BUT I do NOT think they should be the decision body for where redirects go. (aka they should not be the ones to plop in the links on the state and county pages to the "professional lists" pages.
- "I think that should be reserved ONLY for wikiproject TEAMS. (Of which it would be okay for a professional to be a member but NOT the chief decision maker.)
