Some areas of Schlesien have very useful records regarding the hiring of employees.  There are records found in various archives in the Silesian area which contain information regarding this.  Some records may contain the following information:

  • Name of hired employee
  • Name of employer
  • Date and place of birth of employee
  • Date of hire and address of employment
  • Monthly wages
