We'll bring a team of consultants appropriate for the size of your group to your location, or meet with you virtually online. The following are suggested workshops. You are welcome to request other topics.
Start Your Family Tree
Create a free FamilySearch account and begin your family tree.
Age Group: 11 years and older
Group Size: 1 to 20
Time Needed: 60 minutes
Materials
- Internet access,
- Computer or mobile device,
- Names and birthdates of yourself, parents, and grandparents.
Directions
Participants in this workshop will:
1. Create a FamilySearch account.
2. Begin a family tree with themselves and known information about their
parents and grandparents.
3. Use the search features in FamilySearch to identify other ancestors.
