66th Regiment, Indiana Infantry

Brief History

This Unit was organized at New Albany, Indiana, and mustered in August 19, 1862. It was at the Surrender of Johnston and his army. Then march to Washington, D. C., via Richmond, Virginia, April 29-May 19 and Grand Review May 24. They mustered out at Washington, D. C., June 3, 1865.
