Brief History[edit | edit source]

  • formed in 1859 and entered Confederate service during April 1861
  • In October 1862, it was broken up. The men were assigned to S. D. Lee's Battalion of Artillery, and many joined Eubank's-Taylor's Battery
  • AKA - J.S. Brown's Company, Virginia Light Artillery
