The Layton FamilySearch Center will reopen on Tuesday, July 6th. Our hours will be Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. We will expand as conditions change. We are looking forward to welcoming guests back. Keep posted for updates on our website.

While you are visiting the center, enjoy a family-friendly area that helps guests of all ages discover more about themselves and their
heritage in an interactive way! Check out a few of the fun Activities available on our big screen computers. Other family history activities
for you and your family are located on FamilySearch.org/Discovery.

Preparing for your visit

If you already have a FamilySearch account, be sure to bring your account username and password when you visit the Center.
If you do not have an account, set one up before coming by following the instructions on this link.
Make sure you have at least one connection to a deceased ancestor on your tree. A good rule is to go back 4 generations.
Assistance is available at the Center to help you set up the account an to build your family tree.

Learn about you, the meaning of your name, and what took place the year you were born.
"Where I Come From"
See where you and your ancestors come from in an interactive way.
"My Famous Relatives"
Find out what famous individuals are in your family tree.
"Picture My Heritage"
See your face in clothing worn by an ancestor form all over the world.
"Record My Story"
Ancestor questions about you and your life and record them.
"Record Our Story:
Record information about your family or an ancestor.
