Monthly Consultant Training [edit | edit source]
Each month we will focus on addressing the issues you face as you fulfill your calling to “creating experiences during which individuals can learn something meaningful about their family story” (Church Handbook under Family History Calling).
We want to tailor these training classes to the specific needs of the Stake and Ward consultants in our area, so we will have a short questionnaire at the end of the class where you will be able to tell us what you want to learn in these training classes.
The same training class will be offered in the morning at 11:00am and again at 6:30pm. You need to register for each session on our website at www.sacfamilysearchlibrary.org.
Our first class, on January 6, 2021, “Bird By Bird” will focus on helping our members work on their Family History without feeling guilty about what they haven’t been able to do and strategies Ward and Stake consultants can use to motivate and encourage members. We will also cover the “Help” section on FamilySearch.org website.
