- If traveling North on Highway-13, take the Joaquin Miller/Lincoln Ave. exit. Turn Left at the stop sign at the end of the ramp (onto Lincoln Ave.) Go straight at the next stop sign. Turn left into the parking lot of the Oakland Temple.
- If traveling South on Highway-13, take the Joaquin Miller/Lincoln Ave. exit. Turn Left at the stop sign at the end of the ramp. Turn right at the next stop sign (onto Lincoln Ave.) Turn left into the parking lot of the Oakland Temple.
- Park near the Visitor's Center on the right (west) side of the parking lot.
- Enter the door on the right and take the elevator to the Lower Level. The Family History Center fills the entire lower level of the Visitor's Center.
