Cimarron is located in the northwestern part of the state. The name Cimarron was given to the county from the river Cimarron.[2]

Vital Records[edit | edit source]
Statewide registration of births and deaths began in 1908 in Oklahoma. Births records created 125 years ago and earlier and death records created 50 years ago and earlier are considered open records and can be obtained by qualifying individuals.
