===Part 1: Adding Links for County Histories===
====Part A: Select a County and Find the County Histories on Missouri Digital Heritage====
Step 1: Go to [https://www.sos.mo.gov/mdh# Missouri Digital Heritage]<br>
1. Choose a county on the task list. Put your name in the name column.<br>
Step 2: click on the Quick links and select county histories<br>
 
Step 3: Go to the section at the bottom of the page titled "search by county"<br>

Step 4: Select your county and click "search"<br>
 
Step 5: go to the Local Histories heading on your county's Wiki page<br>

Step 6: Check each county history to make sure it's not already listed on the Wiki page.<br>

Step 3: Go to the section at the bottom of the page titled "search by county"<br>
1. Check each county history on Missouri Digital Heritage to make sure it's not already listed on the Wiki page. You will find them under the heading "Local Histories" below "Land and Property Records" and above "Maps and Gazetteers".<br>
Step 4: Select your county and click "search"<br>
 
Step 5: Go to the Maps and Gazetteers heading on your county's Wiki page.<br>  
2. Add the county histories not already listed on the Wiki page under the heading "Local Histories", using the instructions below the heading "How to Format Entries for Local Histories" to correctly format each entry. Limit the number added to three histories.<br>
Step 6: Check each county plat book to make sure it's not already listed on the Wiki page.<br>
 
Step 7: Add all plat books not already listed on the Wiki page. <br>
3. If the county history is already on the Wiki page, check to see if Missouri Digital Heritage is linked to in the entry. The links will appear after the words "online at".<br>
Step 8: put "added county plat book links" <br>
 
Step 9: Click save. <br>
4. If Missouri Digital Heritage is not linked to it, check the number of links in the entry. If there are less than three, go to "Part D: Adding the Link to Missouri Digital Heritage to an Existing Entry".<br>

Part 1: Adding Links for County Histories[edit | edit source]

Step 1: Go to Missouri Digital Heritage
Step 2: click on the Quick links and select county histories
Step 3: Go to the section at the bottom of the page titled "search by county"
Step 4: Select your county and click "search"
Step 5: go to the Local Histories heading on your county's Wiki page
Step 6: Check each county history to make sure it's not already listed on the Wiki page.
Step 7: Add all county histories not already listed on the Wiki page.
Step 8: put "added county history links"
Step 9: Click save.
