1150: Acoma Pueblo is established; one of the oldest continuously occupied settlements in the United States

1540: Francisco de Cornonado's expedition

1598: Governor Juan de Onate nephew Juan de Zaldivar caused a conflict

1629-1640: Catholic Missionaries build a church

1680: Pueblo Revolt against the Catholic church

1699: Spanish rule the area

Census records: The 1900 federal census included population schedules for the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico. The Indians residing in this Pueblo in 1900 are listed on Indian Population Schedules as District 176, Acoma Indian Reservation, in Valencia County, New Mexico.

Land records: Tribal land: 245,346 acres. Allotted land: 320 acres.
