*The society raises funds for the acquisition of materials for the Genealogy Section of the Central Dallas Library.
The Dallas Genealogical Society is a non-profit tax exempt Section 501(c)(3) organization that provides resources and services of interest to family history researchers in (or with an interest in) Dallas and North Texas. We partner with the Genealogy & History Division of the Dallas Public Library to provide services and educational activities that cultivate and nurture an interest in Family History Research.
*Society members staff a help desk in the Genealogy Section of the library.
We are committed to education, service, preservation, and keeping abreast of new developments in genealogical resources, technology, and information providers while pursuing these primary goals:
