  • Good starting point but use with caution

  • A series of articles published in the Guam Tribune beginning in 1982 tracing 24 Chamorro surnames, based on oral history (see list that follows)
  • Copies of the newspaper available at MARC

  • Compilation of Guam genealogies created between the 1960s and 1990s
  • Sources include 1897, 1910 and 1920 U.S. Census, Guam News Letter, Guam Recorder, Guam birth, marriage and death records.
  • Very reliable and comprehensive
  • Organized by family name.
  • Available at MARC
