  • Most of Thuringia is in the Diocese Erfurt.
  • The far west of Thuringia around the city of Geisa is in the Diocese of Fulda.
  • The east near Schleiz/Greiz, as well as Eisenberg, Gera, and Altenburg are in the Diocese Dresden-Meissen, Deanery of Gera.
